PART 1 Boondocking at Craggy Wash 2021 ~ Lake Havasu City, AZ

Dad and I, and the pups, camped for 5 days at Craggy Wash BLM (Bureau of Land Management) Land just a few miles north of Lake Havasu City, Arizona from November 10-14, 2021. We stayed here in 2019 at the same time of year and really enjoyed it, though we chose a different site this year, a little bit further into the canyon. It was pretty windy Wednesday and Thursday but then the weather turned for the better for the rest of the trip!

It is only dispersed camping here at Craggy Wash – there are no designated campsites, electric hook-ups, bathrooms, or water/dump stations. You pack out what you pack in and always leave the site better than you found it. It is BLM Land so you can stay for a maximum of 14 days within a 28-day period. There are no fees but a camp host may drive around and issue a camping certificate for you just to monitor who is coming and going.
