When we look at the chart comparing 2021 to 2005 we see a glaring similarity to the Cromford market index in the Arizona real estate market.
The difference lies in the stability of the financing.
In 2005 the number of homes purchased were bought with adjustable mortgages.
While it is true that the index shows sales beginning to favor buyers there are huge differences in the dynamics of the housing market.
Today, there is much more equity and virtually no adjustable mortgages. But what is the impact of a shifting market?
