David Blaine is planning to strap himself to a bunch of helium balloons and see how high in the air he can fly. Bad weather could still change things, but the FAA has given the magician an okay to go.
Blaine was originally supposed to perform the stunt over the Hudson River from New Jersey to New York City but had to cancel that due to logistical challenges.
The flight is now expected to happen in Arizona: “The most beautiful backdrop that I’ve ever seen in my life,” Blaine said.

Blaine’s YouTube page said the launch is expected to start at 6 a.m. Wednesday, but he said earlier that “everything is wind-dependent.”
