Opening in April 2024, the new Valleywise Health Medical Center will replace the more than 50-year-old legacy hospital currently operating at 24th Street and Roosevelt in Phoenix.

  • Also includes: Dedicated pediatric wing; large physical and occupational therapy room; outpatient center; family support rooms, playroom for children with burn injuries; space for research and teaching

Commitment to Renewability

  • Valleywise Health has committed to energy and carbon reductions through renovation and construction of efficient buildings and is seeking to procure renewable power through power purchase agreements.
  • Building construction and operational standards have been updated through-out the system with sustainability in mind including LED lighting, efficient air distribution and utilization of high-performance glass.
  • Valleywise Health participated in a climate resiliency, adaptation and mitigation screening and planning workshop at the beginning of 2018 and have been implementing many of the recommendations since then.
