Xiaomi commenced its Redmi Note 13 series global rollout last week and also announced a pair of Note 13 4G models. Redmi Note 13 4G is the most affordable entry in the series and is the latest device to make its way to the office.

Based on the spec sheet, the chipset is the only difference between the Note 13 4G and its 5G counterpart but let’s see what else we’ve got here.

Our Note 13 4G review unit comes in the Midnight Black color which features a mirror-like glossy finish on the back. It looked clean right out of the box but it was quickly smudged by fingerprints as we were setting up the device. Luckily, Xiaomi is bundling a grey silicone case to help with that issue. You also get a 33W charging brick and a USB-C cable.

Redmi Note 13 4G features the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate just like the Note 13 5G. One advantage on the Note 13 4G is that it boasts an under-display fingerprint scanner while the 5G model is stuck with a side-mounted reader.

The back brings a trio of cameras, each housed in its own ring and headlined by a 108MP main shooter. The 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cam are the same ones seen on the rest of the Note 13 models. The software front is covered by MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Other notable features include an IR blaster, headphone jack and an IP54 rated design.
