The app features information about more than 2,400 campsites in the United States, everything from small site to national parks. So instead of wondering about what a campsite feature, you will know before you hit the road.

Along with the iPhone and iPad, the app is free for the Mac and upcoming Apple Vision Pro.

With the free version, you can browse more than 2,400 camping sports and see the daily and weekly weather forecast. You can also see more including descriptions, pictures, park boundaries, addresses, and website.

There is also a Pine Pro subscription for $3.99 monthly, $29.99 per year, or a $74.99 lifetime unlock.

Subscribers can see exactly what activities are available at camping spots like hiking, canoeing and RV.

For each location, you can also see monthly average teamptures along with rainfall and snowfall charts so you can see what to expect during a specific time of the year.

Finally, with a subscription you can see more detailed information on the campsite including descriptions, directions, reservation info, and regulations so you’ll know exactly what to expect when arriving.

I’ve been using the app for a few weeks during beta testing, and have really enjoyed. I enjoy camping, but finding specific information about a smaller camping spot can be a challenge. Pines has everything you need to be prepared before your campout. I’m already using the app to find a perfect spot this summer.
