On Wednesday, Arizona formally announced the signing of 16 transfers it has picked up this spring. On Thursday, that number increased by one.
Former Colgate defensive back Owen Goss announced he had committed to the Wildcats for 2024. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
he 6-foot-, 205-pound Goss spent four seasons at Colgate, appearing in and starting 28 games during his career. He stared all 11 games for the Raiders in 2023, when he was a 1st team Patriot League selection and recorded 58 tackles with 41 solo stops as well as two interceptions, three blocked kicks and a forced fumble.
Goss had two picks, including one for a touchdown on the game’s first possession, in an October win over Georgetown.
He is the second DB Arizona has added this spring, along with former Miami cornerback Demetrius Freeney. The Wildcats are unofficially at 83 scholarships, with two open to fill with additional transfer pickups or to give to walk-ons.
