Honor is working on a new smartphone called Play 60 Plus. This has been spotted on a China Telecom site and it was also certified by 3C. So now we know a lot of its specs, and on top of that we have some official images to look at.
The Honor Play 60 Plus has a 6.77-inch 720×1610 LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 35W wired charging support.
On the rear there’s a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP decorative sensor next to it, while selfies are taken care of by a 5 MP shooter. The handset has 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It will be offered in Phantom Black, Wonderland Green, and Moonlight White.
It runs Android 14 with Honor’s skin on top. It measures 166.9 x 76.8 x 8.09 mm, and weighs 197g. The China Telecom listing suggests a base price of CNY 1,500, which right now translates into $206 or €193. If this device ever launches outside of China, expect to pay more than that, though – that’s how things usually go.
The Honor Play 60 Plus’ announcement should be imminent considering its listing by a Chinese carrier.
