It used to be that a high-quality outdoor TV was the kind of thing we could only dream about. We caught glimpses of big screen TVs on the patio or by the pool on MTV’s “Cribs” back in the day, but it wasn’t attainable… until now. In recent years, Samsung has broadened the horizons of its TV model offerings and expanded into the great outdoors. Samsung’s ‘The Terrace’ TV was released in 2021 – and now that it’s been on the market for a few years – we are starting to see deep discounts!

Samsung ‘The Terrace’ TV key features
Both ‘The Terrace’ Partial Sun TV and Full Sun TV are QLED 4K models. The main difference is, as the names imply, that each TV is suited for a different setting. While Partial Sun is meant for an outdoor area that has shade, more likely a patio space, the Full Sun is for a spot that is/can be drenched in sunlight, maybe by the pool or further into the yard.
Both TVs are made to withstand the elements (hot or cold) and are resistant to water and dust. Your Partial Sun TV won’t be ruined if it is hit by a blast of sunlight. You just won’t be able to see the screen very well.
In a PCMag review, from 2022, they stated, that while Samsung’s The Terrace TV is expensive, it “Performs better than any other outdoor TV we’ve tested by a significant margin. It’s incredibly bright and colorful, plus it offers lots of useful features. “
Meanwhile, a CNN review from last year similarly claimed The Terrace to be the best outdoor TV on the market.
Does Samsung Price Match?
Saw ‘The Terrace’ TV available for less at a competing retailer and wondering if Samsung will match the price? In short, the answer is no. Samsung does not match competitor prices, it strives to offer the best prices on its models. However… Samsung does offer price adjustments! This means that if you bought a TV today and you saw that in a week, the price had dropped, you could ask Samsung to make a price adjustment, and you would be refunded the difference. You have 15 days from the date of your delivery post-purchase to make any price adjustments.
How Can I Get Samsung Credit?
You can earn $250 credit to put towards a recteq® wood-fired grill if you buy a ‘The Terrace’ TV, but can you earn Samsung credit to put towards your ‘The Terrace’ TV purchase before that? You can! You can earn $50 in trade-in credit when you give Samsung your old TV – Samsung will recycle it for you. And, currently, several Samsung products come with the offer of $100 or more in Samsung credit when you complete your purchase. So, if you’ve been planning to buy a computer monitor or upgrade your smartphone, now might be the time.
