Bryan Madden serves as the President and CEO of the Valley of the Sun YMCA, one of Arizona’s largest nonprofit organizations dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Since joining the organization in 2015, Bryan has worked closely with the Board of Directors to set a bold strategic vision, ensuring the YMCA remains a vital community convener and a catalyst for positive change. With over two decades of leadership in the YMCA movement, Bryan’s career reflects an unwavering commitment to strengthening communities. Before his role in Phoenix, he served as CEO of the YMCA of Columbia (South Carolina), Burbank Family YMCA (California), and Family YMCA of Greater Laurens (South Carolina). Across these organizations, Bryan has cultivated a reputation for fostering meaningful partnerships, empowering staff and volunteers, and elevating the YMCA’s mission to build strong kids, families, and communities.
A proven fundraiser, Bryan has spearheaded efforts that have raised millions of dollars to support programs that align with the YMCA’s mission.
