Xiaomi’s Redmi line is ready to launch its K70 series on Wednesday, November 29 with no less than three smartphones. We’re expecting a vanilla Redmi K70 alongside a K70 Pro and a more budget-oriented K70E. We now have a set of live hands-on images detailing both the K70 and K70 Pro complete with more specs clarifications.
Redmi K70 Pro (black) and K70 (white)
Both phones will feature 6.67-inch AMOLED panels with punch-hole cutouts and glass backs with a frosted pattern. The rear also features an updated camera design with a large glass camera island and three lenses each housed in their own metal ring. The fourth cutout is for the LED flash. Both K70 models will get 50MP main cams with OIS with the Pro model also offering a 2x portrait cam and an ultrawide lens while the vanilla K70 will instead offer a 2MP AI cam.

The settings menu confirms both phones will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.1 based on Android 14 as well as 12GB RAM. K70 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm’s top dog Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 while the K70 is running on what appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Redmi K70E will debut the recently announced Dimensity 8300 from MediaTek.
Wednesday’s Redmi launch event will also include the new Redmi Book 16 2024 Windows laptops, Redmi Watch 4 wearable, and the Redmi Buds 5 Pro TWS earbuds.
