You wanted the cactus logo back, you got it.
Arizona has officially unveiled its redesigned court inside McKale Center, a look that was picked by Wildcat fans during an online vote in May.
The giant cactus logo, along with the silhouette of a mountain and a setting sun, was a staple of the McKale Center floor from 1984-2009. It went away after that, replaced by a giant Block A logo at center court.
Now both exist, with the A a little smaller and the cactus logo—minus ‘Arizona’ written along the bottom—a little bigger.
The new design will get its public debut Saturday afternoon for volleyball’s Red-Blue scrimmage at 2 p.m. PT, with the first non-exhibition competition set for Aug. 29 when volleyball opens the 2025 season hosting three schools in the Wildcat Classic.
The basketball debut is set for Oct. 3 for the Red-Blue Showcase with the first games that count set for November.
